Valerian: This inhibits the breakdown of GABA in the brain resulting in feelings of tranquillity and calmness. It contains hesperidin and linarin which have a sedative action. Peppermint: Settling the stomach and maintaining normal gastric function, peppermint has long been used to support digestive health and is great when travelling.

Ginger: Ginger has long been used to help with motion sickness. A traditional herb used when travelling to reduce the effect of vehicle motion when travelling. Ginger is incredible at maintaining normal gastric function. The theory is that ginger ameliorates the nausea associated with motion sickness by preventing the development of gastric dysrhythmias and the elevation of plasma vasopressin. It may not be completely understood but it certainly works.

Ginger is amazing to ease any stomach upset caused by travel and is also natural anti-inflammatory.
